Box of Flowers!!!!

I found a tutorial on Pinterest for the box card.  I decided I had to make one for my mom for Mother's Day.  The flower on the back is attached using a wobble to give it some additional dimension.  The flowers on the side panels are attached using foam tape.

Minions Are the Best!!!!

Who doesn't love the Minions?!!!  I decided to make a few of this great card.  I found the idea on Pinterest.  They did take some time to complete but they were totally worth it.  They are adorable.

Thinking of You

Here are the other Thinking of You cards I made while my sister was visiting.  All products used were Stampin' Up.

Thinking of You

I finally had a chance to do some more crafting.  Here are some Thinking of You cards I made while my sister was visiting a few weeks ago.  All products used were Stampin' Up except the pearls.  The paper is Island Indigo.

Thinking of You

Here are some more of the new cards I tried from Pinterest.  I used one color from Stampin' Up and designer paper of the same color.  I added a Thinking Of You sentiment to finish off the cards.

Happy Holidays

I finally tried an idea I saw on Pinterest a long time ago.  I used some coordinating paper to create these two Christmas cards.  The paper and sentiment are both from Stampin' Up.  The solid card stock is Baked Brown Sugar and Cherry Cobbler.

Living on the Wild Side

I can't believe I didn't post these when I made them months ago.  I made them for the new school year.  I love colorful things for my classroom.  The students really enjoy using them as well.  I use cloths pins.  I was going to use polka dot paper and saw this at Michael's and decided to live on the wild side.

First Day of School

Wow!  I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted something.  Summer flew by this year.  I have made a few projects but haven't found the time to post them.

I found this wonderful idea on Pinterest.  When I went to go get the supplies I was shocked at how much it was going to cost.  There was no way I was going to spend $30 - $40 to make a picture frame.  So I finally decided I was going to make it using my Cricut to cut the letters instead of buying wooden letters and spray paint.  I wanted it to be sturdy.  I cut each letter in chipboard and covered it with designer paper.  I then added a few layers of Mod Podge to make it sturdier.  I glued all of the letters and shapes to the frame using E6000.

Here is the finished project.

Well tomorrow is the first day of school with the students.  I can't wait to use my new frame.

For a very special person...

I found this great recipe box to alter at Michael's.  I painted the inside of the box with white paint.  I covered the outside of the box with paper.  I use Mod Podge to glue the paper to the box as well as seal it after the paper was put on.  I added some Thickers to the front of the box with the recipient's name.
This is the inside of the box.  I added a quote and some self sticking ribbon to the inside.

The box was used to collect messages for the person retiring.  People were given 4 x 6 index cards to write a note.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

I am always in need of Thank You cards.  Here is my latest creation.  I wanted a thank you card that was appropriate for a man or woman.  I used two designer papers and three solid colors to create this simple layered card.

Welcome Baby

I decided to make some baby cards.  I found this idea on Pinterest.  I used two circle punches to make the baby bib.  I add ribbon to the bib.  The white background was embossed.  I added a duck button next to the sentiment to finish off this card.

For the Twins!

Some time ago I decided to make blankets and hats for someone I work with who was going to have twins.  She had a boy and girl.  Here are the blankets and matching hats.
